Zoe at 9 months old, Ethan's soccer class

A few other pictures of us loungin around on Saturday morning:

9 month old Zoe:

Zoe is wearing her new Harajuku Lovers t-shirt (mommy has a matching one!).

Zoe had her 9 month doctor visit on Friday. The doctor said she was doing well and was right on track. He said that the fact that she could crawl, waive, pull herself up to stand, and clap were all things babies her age were doing. She weighed only 16 lbs and 10 ounces (13th percentile, down from last visit), was 27.25 inches long (39th percentile, up from last visit) and her head was only 42 cm (5th percentile). She is definitely more petite than Ethan was when he was a baby – he was always around 75th to 90th percentile. But it could be a boy vs girl difference. Over the weekend, Zoe obtained a new skill…dancing! All of a sudden, she started dancing to music. It is so cool! Guess she likes to dance like her Kuya, her mommy, and her Lola.

Soccer time:

On Friday, Ethan had his first soccer class. He joined about 20 other 2-3 year olds in a parent/kid soccer game. They played games and practiced kicking the ball and focused on not using their hands. Most of the kids, including Ethan, picked up the ball to get to their desired location faster. But I guess that’s normal! He really liked it. He had fun and was so excited to wear his little shin guards. So cute… The video is a little long - sorry. I don't know how to edit these videos yet..but I'm working on it.
